Been quite awhile since I last blogged.
Just wanna say I spent a really good time during chinese new year.
All the angbaos, one whole week of break from school, meeting up with friends etc.

Thing is, prelims is in 26 days and I am so not prepared for it.
Haven't been consistent in my studies due to laziness. :x
Nonetheless, I will try my best to study as much as I can.
Must do well for the actual examinations in May.

Anyway, 3 more days to my 11th month with boyfriend.
We've been through so much and I'm really glad we have made it this far.
We may not know what the future holds, but I want him to be in my future. :)

2011 went past in a flash and I guess there were many memories.
- Graduating from PJC
- Getting a $1.9k admin job
- Single to in a relationship
- Getting sucky results for A's
- Entering SIM
- Joined a singing club (which I recently quit due to many reasons)
- Made many new friends
- Partied twice a month

Anyway, it's 2012 now.
It may be a little late but happy new year everybody. :)
May 2012 be a better year for all, hopefully one that would be filled with much blessings, love, joy, laughter and so on.

So, I've been thinking what my new year resolutions should be and I guess these are what I've thought of so far.
- Study more (need to be more hardworking, prelims in feb, actual examination in may)
- Party less (once a month)
- Save more
- Shop less (don't buy clothes so often)
- Maintain my weight (jog more often)
- Spend more time with my loved ones: Family, friends, boyfriend

Had an awesome night with Lena and XY on the 26th.
But what ruined the night was that I actually got drunk and puked.
Guess I am still not very strong at taking alcohol - I only took a vodka, a tequila shot and two long island tea.
Long island tea was the ultimate killer, so not going to have two next time!
I think one's just nice for the kick though. :)

Anyway, life has been busy and school's workload is piling up.
I am soooo lagging behind.
Losing momentum to study, sigh.

On a side note, am finally meeting AhHui tomorrow!
Going to Bugis for some shopping since her exams just ended.
Miss her so much!
Been so long since I last saw her hahah.

Actually, I am quite tired right now, but I am "accompanying" my boyfriend who is having guard duty.
Waiting for him to end at 1am so that we can text more.
It may sound silly but I think staying up late for him is worth it. :)

Counting down:
1. 14 days to boyfriend's birthday
2. 18 days to Christmas
3. 21 days to my birthday

Went to Sentosa with wifey last wednesday.
Great weather but apparently it was a wrong day to visit the beach because there was some NS men event.
So we got stared at by many guys and some retarded fellows even tried to talk to us but we just ignored them.

Thankfully, they all left after awhile and we managed to proceed with our tanning session. :)
It has been quite awhile since I went to Sentosa so even though it was a short trip, it was really great.
Love the sun, the gentle seabreeze, the soft sand, the crashing of waves.
Crap, I miss Sentosa already, hahah.
Shall go back when I have the time. :)

Went to Phuture with Drama peeps and Justin's NS mates yesterday and we all enjoyed ourselves!
I must say it's one of my best clubbing experience so far because there were so many familiar faces around like Gabriel and Lucas.
And it was kind of my first time feeling tipsy although I didn't drink much - 3 tequila shots, 1 jaeggarbomb (I don't know the spelling), 1 vodka with sprite and 1 barcardi with coke.
I think I just drank everything too fast hahah.
But everyone was super high yesterday, so awesomeeeee. :P
Can't wait for the next time when we can do it again! :D

Anyway, there is a make-up math lecture in school today at 3.30pm (wts on a saturday =.=).
To think I slept at 7am and woke up at 10.30am, so I am quite tired but I couldn't really sleep last night. :(
Nevermind, shall stone in lecture later. :X

Went to Marina Bay Sands with Boyfriend on the 8th of October. :D
Totally enjoyed myself because I haven't been there before (okay I know I am slow hahaha).
Really nice view from the Sky Park but a pity we aren't allowed to go to the other side where the pool is.
Anyway, I don't think $20 is worth it because we left in like 20 minutes since there was practically nothing much to do up there, but at least it's something new for me. :)

Okay, really late now, 3.10am.
Really have to say that one bad point about staying up late is getting hungry.
Thank God for the biscuits that Boyfriend gave me.

Crashed RMIT bash three nights ago.
Arrived at 7.30pm with Patricia only to know that actually most people come later just for the clubbing part.
Hahah so anyway, made new friends - Sywell, Veronica and Gabriel.
Friendly people. :)

Then, friday night was cousins' gathering at Marina Square Seoul Garden + Max Brener Chocolate Bar.
Photos with Rachel so shall blog about it when I get hold of the photos. :)

I had so much fun this week, I feel like I am having a mini holiday.
Lol.
Hopefully I can get my study momentum back soon. :X

Went to Science Centre with Boyfriend on 03.09.2011 to celebrate our 6th month.
Been so long since we last went and it was kind of a fresh experience again actually.
Was busy snapping photos away, doing all the hands-on activities available there and I really enjoyed myself that day.

Been to school for a week now and everything feels fine.
Lecturers are okay - If I have to say who I feel is the best, my IBM teacher would have an edge over the rest because Mr. M.Nageb is really good.
Funny yet strict at the same time. :)

So, finally touched notes after 8 months.
Memory isn't as good but I am sure it will be better as long as I don't give up.
Got to improve on my application skills as well.

Of all the modules I take, I still find Econs the hardest.
Sigh, I shall try to understand it better I guess.

One more week of holiday and reality will start setting in as stress comes along.
Eight months have past and I had my fair share of rest and fun, so I guess it's time to get serious and back into the study mood.

I am going to miss these carefree times though (whereby I can go anywhere at anytime and do anything I want).
Nonetheless, I can't wait to attend lessons because my pretty notebooks and colour pens are calling out for me.
HAHA, kidding.

Somehow, I just feel like studying again, because after four months of working and four months of basically just slacking at home or hanging outside, my brain is getting rusty.
I think I can't even solve a simple math question now ; I need to get my brain working again.

Anyway, will be off to Batam this Saturday for seafood/shopping/spa/massage! :D
My last trip before school starts (oh mannnn).
I want to travel MORE. :(

Shall make it a point to travel during my uni-break but hopefully I will have the money to do so. :X
So many places that I want to visit but Taiwan is still #1 on my list.
Totally want to shop there plus eat their local street food!

Tanning at Sentosa today with Ruby was great because we just slacked our day away, which was kind of relaxing. :)
I was just sitting at one corner while Ruby tanned but I got tanned (and a little burnt) as well.
Hahaha.

Celebrated my mum's birthday today with a family photoshoot at Marina Barrage and dinner at Watami Japanese Restaurant.
I enjoyed myself as it was the first time I experienced an outdoor photoshoot.

Being awake at wee hours when everyone else is already asleep isn't really a good idea.
Am kind of missing you (again), but I tend to get a little too emotional during the night when I am alone because I let my mind wander off.
Perhaps I just feel lonely without you by my side.

I miss those times when you haven't gone into NS.
It's like we used to go out thrice a week but now it's only once.
I even miss how you used to accompany me on my bus rides to work early in the morning, just so we can spend more time together.

I love it when you put your arms around me, I love it when you let me lean on your shoulder, I love how you are always so concerned about me, I just love you so much.
Although we may have many differences, but I believe that as long as we have a future in mind, as long as we both compromise and as long as we have faith + trust + feelings for each other, our relationship will definitely work out.

Well, at least you will be having your POP this Sunday.

Am kind of lazy to post more photos from the Batam trip, so I shall talk about the Kukup trip already.
Basically, Kukup is just a traditional fishing village but it was a great get-away from city life.
Anyway, I went with Becky's family and the trip was more on eating than shopping. :)
Went to the kellong as well and it was pretty fun because it was kind of our first time stepping into one.
Overall a pretty good experience! :)

Been a day since I got back from Batam.
Everything feels funny because 2D1N feels kind of short.
It was a quite a great get-away though. :)

I tried foot reflexology for the 1st time and I have to admit that I was shocked by how strong those ladies can be!
90minutes of massage turned out to be kind of painful with some ticklish moments when the lady massaged my sole.
Hahaha.
Also, seafood at the kellong was freaking good because they are so damn fresh!
I totally miss the crabs, lobsters, prawns etc now.
Feeling a little hungry just thinking about them already. :X

On a side note, I shall satisfy my craving for MacDonalds tomorrow afternoon. :P

Anyway, Boyfriend is finally back from his 3 days fieldcamp!
So happy to receive his texts and especially his call just now.
The simple action of him trying his best to call me every night when he's at Tekong so that I can hear his voice really makes my day. :')

Bought a Topshop bandage dress for $39 and a F21 Top for $33.
Happy with my buys and am elated that I finally can apply for the Topshop membership card, thanks to Lena! :P
Well, 'cause Lena spent $125 at Topshop, so we combined our items to hit >$150. :)

However, I really like these 2 other Topshop items.
The thing is, the floral tube is too loose at the chest area while the denim high-waist shorts is too loose at the thigh area.
I think I am just too petite. :(

Found this photo really nice (taken by Ah Don at Dempsey's Ben & Jerry), so I decided to add in some words myself.
Kind of emo (I know, but that's how I feel right now) and I think the words suit the background!

Anyway, today was movie (Pirates of the Caribbean) with Ah Hui then shopping at Fareast Plaza.
First time witnessing Ah Hui spending so much money in one day, it's kind of surprising. :P
I spent $33 on a fedora, a tube top and a long tee.
Quite cheap because the Great Singapore Sale now on! :D
Totally love cheap thrills. (L)

Tomorrow will be Lena's house in the noon to taste her grandma's delicious cooking, then to CCK swimming complex with Ruby for some night swimming.

Today was a very random day out with Elena!
Started off with going back to PJC to collect our certificates, only to realise that we made a wasted trip because we can only get the certificates next week. -.-
Then we bused to 313 for lunch, walked to The Cathay for movie (Priest - storyline wasn't very good), went to the National Museum of Singapore for random photo-taking, and lastly ended up at Bukit Timah's Island Creamery for ice-cream!

FLB Flea at Pit Building last Saturday was fun!
Although I only managed to sell like 3 clothes out of the 30 I brought there (yes it sucks I know), I enjoyed myself because it was the first time I set up a Flea stall with my friends. :)
Was also glad that Boyfriend showed up and had dinner with me even though he was damn tired since he just booked out that afternoon.
I guess all these little things are what keep a relationship strong. ♥

Yesterday night was a long night with Ruby, Elena and Yilin at Zirca and Rebel.

Went to Tiong Bahru Park with my boyfriend last Saturday.
The place may be a little small and the weather may be furiously hot, but it was still fun (anywhere, as long as it's with you ♥).
Watched the movie "Fast & Furious 5" as well and I really liked it!
However, I was a little unwell and had to puke after the movie.
Boyfriend was nice and offered to send me home in a cab but I insisted in taking the mrt.
Luckily I could wait till we alight before I puke again. :X

Many thanks to Daphane and Donovan (my 2 beloved cousins) who woke up early in the morning to prepare bentos for breakfast. :)

Anyway, the sun was scorching hot so basically we were all sun-burnt and yes, it's freaking pain!
LOL.

Went to Hortpark and Henderson Wave with Boyfriend last weekend.
Was so glad that it didn't rain.
Took many photos, will post them up soon. :)

Anyway, friday is my last day working as an Administrative Assistant at Philip Morris Singapore Pte. Ltd.
No doubt I hate waking up early in the morning to go to work, I think I will miss my job - The people, the food, my own desk and most importantly, my pay of $1900/month. :(
I have been working for 4 months now and I am supposed to have a lot of money in my bank, but well, considering the fact that I spend half my pay every month, I think I deserve what's left. :X

Hmm, am going to be jobless from May to July so, DATE ME PEOPLE. :D
I can't possibly stay home everyday, I will go nuts.
Lol.

I am most probably going to tutor my cousin (Chinese) and continue to look for events jobs for the next 3 months.
Need money since I am going to Batam on 14th May and maybe Genting in June.
SHIOK.
Can't wait to travel! :)

Yayeee, ktv-ed with Xueying, Chihpeng and Shaun today at Clementi's Partyworld Ktv.
It was the first time that the 3 of them met, but kudos to all of us for having the same interest/passion in singing! :D

However, I was so engrossed in singing today that I sort of "neglected" boyfriend, in which I never replied to his smses.

Met up with boyfriend last week.
Was supposed to go to Henderson's Wave but it rained, so there goes our plan. :(
In the end, we had Marche for lunch (his treat! :D) and watched the movie Rio.
Sad to say, I watch one movie per week.

Anyway, bought the OPI black shatter top coat not long ago as well.
Effects aren't as nice as I thought they would be but nevertheless, they're alright I guess.

Sigh, ♥ is back in army camp.
Being able to meet only once a week kind of suck.
Hope he's doing fine.

On a side note, I really want to go overseas.
It's like most people have already gone overseas since A Levels ended and to be frank, I really am envious.
I don't expect much, even a short trip to Genting/Bintan is good enough for me.
I just want to have some fun out of Singapore.

Now, all I am hoping for is good news this July, whereby I can go overseas (Taiwan/Hongkong/Korea) with some friends and one of my friend's mum.
I hope my mum wouldn't mind letting me go overseas with friends as long as there is an adult (because she wouldn't let me go to Bintan for the fear of Human Trafficking -.-).

Seriously, Singapore is such a boring place.

Yesterday was a day whereby I experienced a myriad of feelings.
Anxiousness, sadness, anger, and happiness.

Anxious before results, sadness after results, anger when some stupid uncle peeked at my result slip (I shouted at him: "See what see?!" Then he turned away. Lol.), then happiness when ♥ caught me by surprise with such a sweet gift. :')

So, 04.03.2011 marks the day of me being officially attached.

♥ is currently in "Tekong University", so I really miss him, but all I can do is pray for him and make sure he is alright in there.

Oh well, have uploaded a few pictures from our USS trip on 19.02.2011.
Crap, now everyone will know who my ♥ is referring to, but I guess it doesn't matter right? :X

I totally agree to the part whereby you mentioned that I am not quiet.

Basically, I am a person who can't really speak much to people whom I just got to know because I will feel awkward.
I can only open up to people whom I feel comfortable with, which of course refer to people who are close to me - my family, cousins, qi duo huas, drama peeps and ♥.
If you know me well enough, you'll know that I can be quite retarded + noisy. :P

On a side note, I want to get a pair of Fred Perry shoes and a Kate Spade wallet.
Maybe I will get one of them when I get my next pay on the 5th of March, then get the other one in June (during GSS) before university admission. :)

The Straits Times: "The results of the 2010 Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level Examination will be released on Friday, Mar 4, 2011. School candidates may obtain their result slips from their respective schools from 2.30pm."

Oh crap, I am so worried right now that my heart seems like it's going to jump right out of my mouth.
I think basically, I screwed up my A Levels, that's why I feel scared because I lack the confidence.

The thing is, I have decided that instead of going into a course in NUS/NTU which I have no interest in, I would rather go to a course in SMU/SIM/some other private universities which I have the passion for.
Although the university fees would be a problem, at least it helps to ensure that I would not regret my choice.

Well, my desired course is Business - Marketing, but everyone knows how tough it is to get into the Business course of NUS/NTU.
So, we shall see how things go.
All I can do now is pray that my results would not be too bad.
Like what my colleague said, everything has been set, so there's no point worrying already.

Universal Studio Singapore on 19th February was great! :D
I really had fun and I think it is worth the $72.
However, I don't think it is worth it to go a second time.
I mean, you can finish all the rides in one day, and it's quite expensive.
Hahah I missed 3 rides though.

1 - Water ride at Jurassic Park because I didn't want my eye-liner to smudge. :X
2 - Red roller coaster because ♥ thinks it is rather dangerous.
3 - Blue roller coaster because it was not open yet.

Overall, although I missed 3 rides, I don't really mind because the rest were awesomeee~
Will post some photos up soon. :)

On a side note, A Levels' results are most probably coming out next Friday, 4th March.
Oh man, I am freaking scared but what's done cannot be undone, so I guess I just got to face it.
Hope I won't do too badly (although I know I screwed up). :/

Okay, am currently bored at work because I got nothing to do (again).

Helloooo, so how was Valentine's Day for everyone? :)

Mine was awful at the beginning due to work, awesome in the midst 'cause I get to see ♥, and a little sour at the end due to some personal reasons.
Am not going to reveal what exactly happened because me and ♥ came to a consensus already. :)

Anyway, we watched the show "No Strings Attached" on V.Day and hmm, it was okay. Then today, we went to watch "Just Go With It".
I think the 2nd movie is better if you want to get a laugh. :)

Well, I seriously don't know what else is there to do in Singapore besides watching a movie, shopping and going to Sentosa/ECP.
It seems like there are very limited things to do, especially after work.

Nevertheless, being able to meet up with ♥ 2-3 times a week really makes my day.
Especially when ♥ is sweet enough to wake up early in the morning, just to send me to work.

You may not be good-looking to others, but to me, you are the cutest of all.

I am finally working!
Pay is freaking good and location is not too far. :)
The bus fare is killing me though.
I miss my student fare whereby 70cents was the most expensive price for traveling in a bus. :(

Anyway, the job scope is rather okay.
Had a 3-days crash course with Jasvinder.
She taught me how to do the Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, MVQA, Courier, CI Samples and so on.
However, she left the company today and now I am damn worried for Monday because I will be doing all the work alone.
I really pray hard that I will be fine and make no mistakes.
Moreover, it will really be bored without her to talk to. :/

Oh my god, I totally enjoyed myself today! :D(Y)
Had an early 18th birthday celebration with my family and friends.

First and foremost, I have to thank my parents for ordering/preparing the food, making the "Christmas tree" on the wall, as well as playing the hosts and paying for the party! :)

Whoo, went to cut my hair today because I was so bored.
Cut all my layers away and now my hair feels so straight! :D
Kind of nice but I think I look more "toot" as well. :X

Although location is far, the pay is damn damn good. :P
$7/hour for training, $9/hour for actual, $13.50/hour for OT, $18/hour for rest day! :X

Woke up at 12.30pm, ate fish beehoon for lunch, developed some photos and bought the last pack of Disney Princess polaroid films at FujiFilm, went back home to wrap Christmas gifts, wrote short notes for some, D.I.Y-ed a Christmas tree on the wall, watched Indiana Jones on Channel 5, packed my wardrobe, use the computer till now.

HOW BORING CAN MY LIFE GET. :(
Staying home again tomorrow, maybe I'll just go to the library.
Wednesday will be shopping with Emily and Thursday will be lunch with HOGC peeps!

Went shopping with my beloved Ah Hui today and I only managed to get a wallet for myself.
Nevermind, buy less = save more money! :)
Have to control my expenses now since I have got no income. :X

Anyway, I followed her to her church (Heart Of God Church) after our shopping trip and I actually like it there!
The atmosphere was good and the people were so friendly.
Made some new friends and I am quite glad that I went because I enjoyed myself. :)
To think that I was still worrying yesterday whether I will feel weird there. :X
Oh yea, I managed to stay awake for the sermons (especially even when they all felt that today's sermons was more to the dry side)!
GOODJOB. :P

Now, I am thinking whether I want to join her every Saturday at HOGC.
I think I will go for the Christmas event on the 24th first then I decide from there.
'Cause HOGC is located at Paya Lebah, so it takes me like 1 hour to travel there and 1 hour to travel home. :/

First of all, it's 12 more days to Christmas and 15 more days to my 18th Birthday! :D
Was kind of bored so I drew the comic characters above.
It's quite difficult to draw straight with a pen and actually there were quite a few mistakes made.

Virgin clubbing experience @ Butter Factory + awesome company! :D(L)
Totally enjoyed myself yesterday but my feet suffered the most (with my 11cm wedges).
Well, I have to say that a club isn't really my kind of place though.
It's just too noisy and squeezy, not to mention the sweat-smell that filled the air.

Oh yes, special thanks to Emily who dragged us up the mini stage with a pole!

It made our $22 worthwhile because at least we tried what other girls might not have tried. :X

First day of work today at Suntec!
Start of the day didn't went well because I was kind of rushing, missed a step, slipped on the escalator (quite embarrassing!) and ended up having 2 long sratches on my leg. :(
Nevermind, should be fine after a few days.

Anyway, back to the topic of how my job went.
I had five bosses in the booth today, but apparently I was doing all the standing and trying to get people to the booth, while they were all sitting down and just waiting for businesses to come knocking their door. =.=
Damn tiring I swear and my whole body is aching.
I think I was more hardworking than them, seriouslyyy.

Oh yes, just a warning to people who find jobs through an agency, you will get a lot of pay deducted as agent fee.
Well, I overheard my agent telling one of the bosses that he had to pay her $35 everyday, which means I earn $5 less per hour.
I should have gotten $11 per hour but now I only get $6 per hour.
So yeap, I have decided not to look for jobs through an agency again because the pay is just too little.

On a side note, my Creative Zii Expo job from 10-19 December got cancelled.

However, it is actually a blessing in disguise because Creative is going to compensate me by giving me one day's pay + a speaker + a set of earphones.

Can't believe that there is such a good deal on earth. :P

Also, I have to thank Ruby for introducing me to her job.
Pay is good and location is near to where I live, greatttt. :)
Plus I can start work on 13th December and I will get paid every two weeks!
My money is so going to start rolling in soon. :D

A levels (finally) ended! :D
Went for mani+pedicure with my mum and since I am in the Christmas mood already, I painted my nails bright orange+white. :)

Currently, I am just enjoying myself to the fullest because I totally deserve it after the stressful A levels.
Am starting work on Tuesday though, but so far I only have 2 short term jobs (it can only last me for14 days).
I need a long-term job from January to June, intro anyone? :/

Sigh, been depressed for the past few days because I have been studying like crazy but my studying speed is way too slow.
Only managed to complete 2 CSE essays yesterday and 2 today.
At the rate I am going, CSE itself is going to take me forever.
The thing is, I am still not confident in Maths and I seem to have done nothing for Econs when my Econs is already at risk of getting "at most an E" (as quoted from my Econs teacher).
I want to start on my H1s (GSC and GP), but apparently I've got no time to do so because there is still a lot more to be done for my H2s.
Oh man, I am so freaking dead.

Argh, life sucks at this point of time.
It's like there is no other choice but to continue studying because it's 12 more days to A Levels.
It kind of sucks to think that my whole future lies in the hands of one major examination.
